Shadow analysis with animation

On more than one occasion, I have produced almost beautiful animations of shadows moving across buildings, gardens and neighbouring properties, which have engaged their audience. Shadows are best understood when they are seen moving, obviously they are never static. Notice how they move slowly during the middle of the day and quickly towards the end, something which is clear in an animation.

Creating high quality stills is of course no problem, and all part of the service, but having a video to 'scrub' back and forth to see exactly what is happening has proven to be a useful tool... one that gets remembered by your clients.

This particular example ended up being used in a Tribunal as evidence for a planning dispute. I was cross examined over every detail and the video itself was scrutinised almost frame by frame. The work stood up and no faults were found during the hearings.
